How did these unusual Martian small balls emerge? Thousands
of unusual small gray balls consisting of iron were found on
the landing ground of the robot-landrover Opportunity on Mars.
They look like blackberries. The Opportumity landrover found
a hole on the surface of Mars with a large quantity of balls.
This place, called "blackberry plate" was found on
the 48th Martian day.
The Center's answer: The balls are magma surges from the depths.
The form is connected with the impact of temperature condition.
