What is there in the sky? In 1985, this object was discovered
by Arthur Gomez and became known as Gomez' hamburger because
of its particular shape. Research allowed to identify this object
as protoplanetary nebula - a gas cloud emitted by a star similar
to the Sun after all the hydrogen in its nucleus has been burnt
and turned into helium. Luminous areas resembling halves of
hamburger are the light of a central star. The star itself is
hidden behind a thick dust disk that passes in the middle (like
chopped meat in a hamburger).
The Center's answer: The central part is a solid body. The light
lines are remnants of an object 10 times as powerful as the
Sun, divided as the result of an explosion.
