“It has been over 10 years from the day when the British police officer Phillip Spencer encountered aliens. Spencer remembers that it happened early in the morning in December 1987 as he was on his way to his stepfather’s house through the heather-covered peatbogs of Yorkshire County. He had a camera with him. When he approached the trees that grew on the edge of the peatbogs, he heard a strange buzz that resembled a muffled sound of a plane engine. The sound lasted for several minutes while Spencer was approaching the trees and then it suddenly died. On the very edge his attention was attracted by a movement to the left of the path. Spencer looked closer and saw a small green creature about 120 cm tall! The creature waved to the policeman who quickly turned on the camera and pressed the button. Spencer managed to take only one picture before the creature turned around and quickly disappeared behind the hill. The officer immediately started chasing it but the creature was nowhere to be seen. After Spencer spent some time searching for traces, he suddenly heard the same buzz again. He looked in the direction from which the sound was coming from and saw a silvery disc flying up in the sky. Everything happened in a few moments and Spencer could not take the second picture. The photo was not the only proof of the authenticity of Spencer’s story. His compass that had been working for many years started pointing to the south instead of north after the encounter with the flying saucer. The compass was first examined at the Manchester University where under the guidance of the professor of physics Ray Leonard the scientists saw that the work of the device was anomalous. Then the compass was sent to the electronics laboratory of Professor Ed Spuner. There it was discovered that only powerful industrial magnets could have change the compass arrow but only for a while. According to the conclusions made by the experts, Spencer’s compass found itself in an incredibly powerful electromagnetic field that was impossible to create artificially. About a month after the encounter in the peatbogs Spencer started having a repeating dream with a dark sky and unknown constellations. To find out the possible cause of these dreams the journalist Matthew Hill invited Spencer to a practicing psychiatrist Jim Singleton. During a hypnosis session it was discovered why Spencer had lost two and a half hours. Before he photographed the alien, the policeman was inside a spaceship! When Spencer was approaching the trees, an alien appeared in front of him and invited him to follow him inside a silvery flying saucer. Inside the spaceship, as Spencer remembered, several aliens examined his body with a shimmering ray of light that glided along the body causing a funny sensation. Then Spencer had a short excursion around the spaceship and was shown on a screen the faraway Earth soaring in space surrounded by stars. During the excursion the “guest” was invited into a room to see films. In the middle of the room three-dimensional pictures of a terrible environmental disaster appeared, the catastrophe that will happen on Earth in 200 years, as the aliens explained.
Having seen the film, Spencer was brought back to the peatbogs. He did not remember anything about the time he had spent in the spaceship but he managed to photograph the alien he brought him back. Thanks to the hypnosis therapy the police officer could describe the appearance of the aliens. They had big pointed ears, small eyes, small mouth and no nose. Their skin was black and seemed rough to the touch. They had big long hands with three thick fingers. They were small and had funny round legs.”
